Senna

Senna’s remarkable story, charting his physical and spiritual achievements on the track and off, his quest for perfection and the mythical status he has since attained, is the subject of SENNA, a documentary feature that spans the racing legend’s years as an F1 driver. Far more than a film for F1 fans, SENNA unfolds a remarkable story in a remarkable manner, eschewing many standard documentary techniques in favor of a more cinematic approach that makes full use of astounding footage, much of which is drawn from F1 archives and previously unseen.

Finally — a great film about the legendary F1 Racer, Ayrton Senna. The Brazilian born international sports superstar is a legend, rivaling the better-known Pelé. Much like soccer, F1 racing has never taken a foot-hold in the American audience, however internationally it is recognized as the premier racing circuit. Senna’s short, but explosive career took him from humble beginnings, and landed him in the throne of the worlds fastest and luxurious sports. His life was cut short doing what he loved — there would have been no better way. He came from the bottom, and ended on the top, no questions.
